The Liberty Lake Police Foundation recognized members of the Operation Liberty Lake at our October Board meeting. This operation led to 13 Arrests. The operation was a part of the Washington State Patrol Missing and Exploited Children Task Force work. There were approximately 75 law enforcement officers involved in this operation coming from 20 different regional agencies. Our LLPD team, consisting of 9 LLPD personnel worked a 2-day detail, with many individuals working 14 hours or more per day in a variety of duties. Detective LaRocco, Sgt Sowell, and Crime Analyst Sauls were able to attend our Foundation meeting as others worked nights or had other obligations and were not able to attend the meeting. After a debrief by the team, each were awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Foundation. Those not in attendance will receive their certificates from Deputy Chief Morgan. The Foundation is proud and thankful to all these individuals and the tireless work they did, making this operation a success!
